What they did not notice was that Bernard did not use the stick once and only flicked the reigns at him. This undoubtedly let the horse do whatever he wanted as he was cantering with 2 furlongs to go.

.........I'm going to stick my foot in it here. Maybe they should still consider the Golden Shaheen? I think he can run on that surface. He was just remarkably underdone last time imo.

Hope the MDK fans don't jump down my throat as I'm not having a go, but I have said it before and I will say it again. Her best distance imo is a mile. That is where she is at her best. I know she ran 2nd behind sweety pie in the oaks but imo that form doesn't amount to much.

Keep her over a mile and she will win again!

Fields too strong for her in Dubai? .... You have to have a VERY good filly to win there imo....
