Thursday @ Meydan - SAf interest

I noticed that we'll be getting televised broadcast from Meydan tomorrow night, so I've taken a quick look at the card and seen that we've got some SAf interest.

Race 1
(1) Paulinho (Arg) - H Brown

Race 4
(2) Mahubo (SAf) - M de Kock/K Shea

Race 5
(1) Mikhail Glinka (Ire) - H Brown
(6) Bronze Cannon (USA) - H Brown
(10) Mr Crazy Boy (Arg) - M de Kock
(13) Wonder Lawn (SAf) - M de Kock/K Shea

(11) Craigstown (GB ) - K Shea

I liked Mikhail Glinka when trained by obrien,Bronze cannon was a good sort aswell

I see this Paulinho of Herman Brown's in the first is unbeaten from three starts (one on grass, two on dirt) in Argentina and won a Gr 1 over 1600m the dirt last time out. Could be interesting, he must have cost them a bob or two. Hasn't raced since June, though.

Seems like MDK horses are quite far along in their preparations but Brown maybe a little further behind?

Mahubo won a cracking good race !

Its amazing how Mdk gets them to run on synthetics/dirt .

Owner F Hay has spent bombs on horses which where mostly trained by Brown and never performed , she has a nice sort here which will hopefully progress further in dubai .

Team Valor has a 2yo colt that is a half-brother to Mahubo, whose dam produced Imbongi and Spring Garland (we now own half of her, too). So we liked Mahubo's win.
