Faster , but a poor time none the less for that grade a field !
Flirtation seems to be a turffontein horse .All her wins have been at that track !

I know track conditions race pace etc.
But Pocket Power went 2 odd seconds faster this year than the 1st year he won it.
If he is sound after this race and goes for the Met will be great race again.
I see he earned about 90k shy of 10mill. All locally earned.

Have to agree but reading the post from Harris from the Bass site would guess he has been retired? but bookies still have 10/1 and the place would be a tempting bet? :S

Who believes racetimes from year to year are relevant?
Where was the false rail?
It can be anywhere without the stalls position being adjusted.
More racing operator crap to keep serious people in the dark.
And they call racing a brain game.

Times barely matter on the day, let alone a year later.

Looking at race times while taking the track, variant & distance into account is a very powerful tool in my opinion....

Except in Cape Town where the cape crawl has to be taken into account. the queens plate was run at a decent gallop thanks to Blue Tiger setting the fractions.

my point was that PP put up a great run as an 8 year old.
I believe the horse enjoys being on the outside not on the rail.
i hope we get a good Met Field none the less.
MDK probably strong hand with the fillies.
