Geez, it's tough today at the Vaal (apart from the 2nd where you can 'buy some money' if you are so inclined); at least it has dried up since the start of the week, so I would think that most horses would have been able to get in one gallop at least, thoughts;
R3: Jannu from an in-form stable first choice, followed by Winning Wild who is much better than his run on Tuesday on the sand; these two should suffice for the PA; include Torman in the trifecta and quartet
R4: Soul Sister (good run this trip and stable has struck from), Sacred Light (Striker sticks with her so probably better than her last run) and Velvet Jar (1400?) for me in the PA
R5: Snowdon a PA banker, but include the van Zyl coupling (Seal actually holds Snowdon on their last meeting, but may prefer further and I think Read My Heart is better than his last run) in the P6 and JP; not sure abt Western Front - never a 101 imo
R6: Lots with chances; I'm going with the consistent Canute the Great, Parade Prince (ignore his last run in the soft) and Wild Type (well weighted but may prefer further) in the PA - Jedi Joshua has obvious claims, but could be better over shorter, while Eastern Cobbler can not be ignored
R7: Not sure about Drum Master (his last run seem good on paper, but I think he needs more ground) or Bold Al (actually held by Beach Club on a line through Rabadash) so I'm going for Midnight Charged, Causeway and Flintoff in my PA
R8: Not much between Strike Princess, Masekla and Tasteful, I think these 3 should be enough for the PA - field race in the JP and P6 though
R9: Another tough race to finish, Sunny Disposotion musc better than her last run under lights, but quite a few have chances here; PA numbers 3,4,8,14
Play well and break a leg, Orange (will be watching that Miesque's Approval baby in the 1st with interest)

Well he said he has not trained a first time out winner in 17 years - he just neglected to add 'until today'; also strange that the jock who worked her a while back (Sampson) told him that 'this was the best 2 yrl old he has ever worked' - still better that they win unexpectedly than lose unexpectedly
