greg i have no doubt that ebony flyer up to a mile and the de kock filly who ran 2nd to her in the guineas up to 2400 metres are better than the colts,,ebony beat covenant in the maidens and ebony aint a sprinter and look how good covenant is....the majorca and the paddock stakes both won by 3yo fillies

Race was an absolute farce, they crawled for the first 1400, well done Hassen and connections anyway. I'm sure they couldn't care less but as a racing fan you like to see true run races.

Gerrit gave a great ride from the draw as well...

The two horses who would have benefitted from the slow pace the most ran 1st and 2nd imo. The best run in the race for me was the 3 year old. Wide, no cover but still ran on!

Not nice when there is no pace, but we knew this from the get go and if we studied properly we would have found the first two?

Anyway, just my opinion.

I took swingers with the winner and Paddy O'Reilly. Got my money back thank goodness ;)
