Racingweb - really poor
14 years 4 months ago
Not looking to stir the pot but really cannot believe that as of 11.30am on Sunday morning they have not posted a Met report back article. I really believe somebody should set up a day to day online racing newspaper. What we have now between sahorseracing.com and racingweb.co.za is second rate crap.

....and I believe he was invited to the Met by J&B. He had other commitments?
I think he does a good job with the lack of funding he has to deal with.
Not defending or having a go......just mentioning.

Now why should anyone want to do that for no return?
Who pays for staff to report outside hopurs?
Harris?
Don't make me laugh.
If you want a report wait till Monday, or go to an overseas site - they have staff aplenty to work overtime.
These kind of things make my blood boil - everyone chasing freebees.

Too true Karel - only certain people allowed to earn money in racing the rest should just work for the love of it! A senior writer with Charl's experience should be paid accordingly not expected to promote racing because he happens to love it and do it for peanuts
