What a F#$%^ joke . I have said this before and no doubt ill end up saying it again - ARE THE STIPES AND NHA for real or do they think we are all F#$%# blind. That race and what happened was for all to see yey nothing was done not even a race review. Mr Miller to his credit only mentioned how ridiculous it was for jocks to protest ( and that in itself is a joke as they tested the track in the fvirst place and agreed to race only to change their minds) yet never said anything about the fact that the second horse would have been declared the winner anywhere else on the planet. The NHA and P Miller should fine the jockeys concerned and Miller should now back up his post race interview and refuse these so called senior jocks rides in the future. I have spent time with the old jockey club and cannot believe what a stuff up this whole meeting was . Just look at opinions from people like Magic Pirates and afew others who know this game backwards and while we may not be experts the clowns and idiots in charge of racing should be made to answer for this F#$%# disgrace . The best bet this year is that nothing will be said or done . You bunch of idiots.

I posted on the other thread that the winner was my bet for the day,but posted before the pull-up(beat magic by a split second)and although the result suited my pocket it didn't make it right.....please can we just have consistency.My guess is that the stipe/s were so busy with the battle between Jocks and trainers that they didn't watch the race.(he was in a right state when explaining the abandonment)
Peter Miller was incensed about the situation and I got a feeling that Wroggeman needn't book any more flights to Kimberly!

The only way anybody could miss the interference was if they weren't watching the race!

Watched it a few times again and cannot believe that the race was given to Betty Burke .... Shew what idiots are running the show . Can imagine the frustration of the punters in the totes that punted Cyber lady.

The UK has llax rules but i am confident that the runner up would have got the race here in the UK. Beggars belief nothing happened in SA.

Watch the replay have to agree, cannot belive not one word from the commentator, studio presenter, stipes???

Very poor and strange "stand off", plus shocking that the meeting never went ahead.

Hearing this morning at 10 o clockabout the incident. There wont be much sorted out, cause if what I hear is correct stipes could not view the tapes cause there was a problem with the dvd set up. Apparently due to the rain, the stipes roof was damaged and almost everything had to be replaced.........

The runner-up would normally have got the race in SA as well. Fark knows what happened here, but "couldn't view the tapes" sounds distinctly mickey mouse. Indeed, it's hard to imagine that even Ngong could sink that low.

How could they come to this decision if a review wasn't even called for?? ... I don't buy that Fairytale!!!

The winning jock came back and had settled with the fact that the stipes would object. You cant call a review if you cant view the tapes?

Peter Miller did actually mention in the post race interview that the second horse got squeezed how there was no race review and objection was unbelievable and it will be interesting to see what comes out in the report today .In my opinion the stipe or stipes responsible for the race should be severely fined just as a jockey who drops his hands and loses a race would have been. And if no action is taken against them it is disgraceful because the is no doubt that the wrong horse was awarded the race.

I have just watched the replay (didnt see the race "live").. imho there should have been a race review... ive seen race reviews called for less interference. AS IF THIS "SPORT" DOESNT NEED ANY MORE DAMAGING!!!... honestly i dont by the excuse "stipes couldnt review cos of rain damage - are they that unprofessional in their apoproach to racing & doing their job correctly???... wat a bunch of clowns who run this circus!!!
