What are your thoughts on result of race 2 today should the result have stood.Cannot believe not even a race review.Racing is fast becoming a joke, different stipes in each centre interpret thinks differently.Have no doubt Cyber Lady was interferred with twice by winner and was only beaten by a short head.Commentator never mentioned interference (but did comment on good ride from Wrogemann on the winner) Peter Miller trainer of first two past the post also never mentioned interference but also said winning jockey rode a great race.

Have spoken to Denzil Pillay from NHRA and he had already called for a full report and has promised to come back to me by tomorrow. What they dont realise people are not playing for fun and are putting real money down so tomorrow does not help people who have been affected today.Every controversial incident chases a few more people away from racing and we are already under pressure to keep racing going in South Africa.

Well lets see what answers Mr Pillay brings forward . Either way punters not getting money back and I highly doubt it will make a difference . Peter Miller the law in Kimberley .

Racing needs to realise that gone are the days where the majority of punters listned to races via Radio or telephone - They have Teletrack and are in totes and see excatly what the authorities see so if they don't react to obvious incidents the public feel they are being let down and stop punting - Please stop trying to get punters out of the game - they have eyes and ears are not stupid!!!!!:X

I watched the race closely and then looked at the head on a few times and for me there is no doubt that the second horses running was taken up against the rail and then when he switched out, the "winner" moved out again. I lost money on a race like this at Greyville a few years ago and made a big noise on the thread. Magic explained the reasoning and I accepted it but now today, there is a new interpretation.
What interested me most is that when the two jocks involved came back towards the " winner" circle it seemed they had a conversation and there was a bit of hand gesturing. I really then believed there would be an objection.
I am so glad that I normally work during the week but I am glad that I witnessed this. This for me puts the integrity of racing to the test and is an absolute disgrace but seems to be that mediocrity reigns supreme.
The industry needs to wake up and quickly. I see Teletrack has still not sorted the sound out since J&B Met. The Saftote site is faulty more than it works and then there are the wars in the background.
Its becoming an embarrassment. Can you imagine the Casino's running a show in this way.
The message is simple: Sort This sh1t out, finished and klaar!!!

It's amazing that the funniest and grandest of all mess ups happen at Flamingo Park. Well, maybe it's not that amazing, just bad operating.
Anyway I never saw the race but it seems to me that there is enough evidence on the wires that there should have at least been a race review!

I will love to see a response and action taken but the dickheads that run racing dont have to explain shit to anyone . I had a bet on the eventual winner but expected my money to go and would never had moaned about it .

AS I HAVE SAID SEVERAL TIMES on this forum many facets of this industry is 3rd world and today illustrates this point again,,,i guess that the stipes had their minds fully on whether the meeting was goung ahead and over looked the interference,,,no excuse i know... i read on sfrw that nhra stats reflects that owners have dwindled from 8000 to around 3000 and days like today dont help matters..alcaponee please refrain on using the word mediocrity as i have sole rights on it
