Thank goodness my bookie had this horse short,otherwise it would be light out.

Was disappointing but there are just too many reasons possible to write him off just yet. Just hope he pulls up sound and he is ok.

I tend to agree with Homer. Word from the yard was he was thriving on the Tapeta surface.

Not sure he dislikes Dubai, I do think he just does not act on anything but grass. That's not unusual at all. A horse can be working gangbusters on a surface but not until it gets put under pressure on race day does their dislike for the surface actually materialize!

I think we should hope he is 100% sound after his run and give him another chance! I think the Al Quoz sprint is still very much an option even though it is a 1000m dash. JJ has the natural speed to be competitive!
