Point is would have been a good start to drop them.

ps imo this would have given some indication that he understands the concerns and would have made an immediate difference, its easy to just listen to the tones of his own presenters and comments when they have to suffer during transmission and make a judgement on what they think? Would hope he has already asked them for constructive improvements.

Dave ,I detect a trace of bitterness over the appointment?
Do you think he would have been able,(even if you believe it falls within his mandate or authority),to dispose of those contracts in 6 weeks.

Nobody is going to get the foreign racing off our TVs. That is not Tellytrack's decision, all they can do is hopefully exercise a bit of common sense and a priority in the way they show it. It's here to stay, and who knows, there could be even more on the way.
I don't like it either, but that's the reality. I hope that there are ways in which Ken can improve Tellytrack, first and foremost by trying to get them to cut down on the cockups (it may be easier to stop a rampaging elephant with a pea shooter, but you can always hope.) But getting rid of the foreign racing is not an alternative.

Bitterness? hope he does a great job.
Was watching 2 tvs last night at the big T , the track feed and Tellytrack and for me the one is very busy and the other is a pleasure.
I am sure we all have a choice in life, but would enjoy the same facility at home.
Plus the recent non gambling shows on tellytrack have been magic, watching them just made me want to have a bet on a champion!
