Best Tipster in South Africa Competition - March Edition.
Rules.
1. This is for your best win or place bet only. Please mark win OR place on your selection. If you say EW, swinger etc, your selection will be ignored. If nothing is put on your selection, it will be presumed that it is a win bet.
2. You MUST put BOTH the race number AND the horse number in your selection, if you do not, your selection will be ignored. Should you also put the horse name and it is different from the horse number, I will use the horse number as your selection. So it’s best just to leave the horse name out of it.
3. You will get points as follows... -1 for all loosing selections, the Hollywood Bets SP – 6% betting tax on winning selections for win bets. Tote place payout -1 for winning place selections.
4. If your horse is scratched, your selection will be ignored.
5. Selections are to be posted no later than 10 minutes before the first race starts.
6. You may only edit your selections BEFORE the cut-off time. This is useful if your first selection has been scratched early and you’d like to make another one.
7. If you edit your selection AFTER the cut-off time, you will get -1 point even if your selection wins. So don’t do it.
8. If you place more than one selection per meeting, all of them will be ignored.
9. Players will be sorted by points earned, then ROI, then strike rate.
10. Should you score more than 25000 points, we will withhold 15% of it as per the budget speech
Your personal goal/ challenge should be to show a profit (a positive balance) by the end of March.
