At the Breeders cup of last year there was a filly of Todd Pletcher (her name escapes me, Barry maybe if you can help?) who went down terribly to post. The jock went on National Television (they interview jockeys on horseback while on the way to the start) and said that he felt the filly is not right and went down scratchy. Nobody said a thing, the stewards did nothing, the horse jumped and there was absolutely nothing happening. She trailed in a distance and was never in the race.

I don't know the rules of American racing well enough to know who the blame belongs to but right now there are hearings, probably court cases and a huge deal made in the press about this situation. (rightly so I say as she was favorite and a LOT of money was bet and lost on her)

Flash forward, Vaal Race 3 (3/10/2011), this filly Advanced Warning unruly in the stalls, Marcus gets off (gets bounced off??). In all probability he asks the vet to check the filly or to scratch........The vet, starter, whomever says, race my friend and that's the end of it.

Antons comments after his win in the 5th (or lack of comments) would tell me something is rotten in dodge..........

What will happen of this matter?

Work for a change keeping me from the horses... Whoever is making some tom, well done....(tu)

yip and as usual nobody to represent us when these things happen but then again people on here actually believe we dont need a voice or representation
