Anton said that he "pleaded the 5th", his right to remain silent. Imo that means that he has some kind of feeling for how the thing played out but does not want to get into trouble........I'm guessing obviously at the risk of putting the cart in front of the horse, so to speak

There will probably be an investigation, and even if something untoward is discovered and disciplinary action is taken against someone (unlikely), it won't help any of us who went out of the PA because let's face it, together with Magico, Advance Warning was an obvious banker - and even if we had 'representation', I'm not sure what could be done after the race (apart from scratching the horse which would never happen); shit happens - I suppose 'that's racing' as they say.

I have raced for over 40 years and have had some lovely wins, some very lucky ones, some unlucky losses, some damn silly losses and then some like today, having banked AW in JP and PA.
If I don't take the rough with the smooth,I'd be dead.....but I will continue to highlight areas of incompetence in the industry,in the hope that every now and again it might make a little difference and up the professionalism, even if a little bit at a time!
So don't expect me to stop moaning soon.....lol
