Scotia on Cheltenham (day 1) Tuesday 15th March.

Good morning to the Clan and hope we are ready for a good weeks punting at Cheltenham from Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th.
Have plenty comments on the site over the last month, but here is the latest news.
Well done to the bookies for the refund on Binocular for the Champion Hurdle, should still be a cracking race between Menorah 7/2 Hurricane Fly 7/2 and Peddlers Cross 4/1 in addition Oscar Whisky 8/1 and Dunguib 9/1 should also be considered.
I will be sticking with Menorah and a good indication will be to watch how good Cue Card is in the Supreme Novice.
I have taken the double JJ at 9/4 Cue Card 9/4 from Sportingbet and will hopefully get off to a flyer.
Also well done to Sportingbet with all the Cheltenham "specials" if you fancy Kauto to beat Denman at 10/11 plus many more options.
In the Arkle Chase, Medermit tops the boards at 3/1 but fancy an ew on Rock Noir at 16/1.
The 3rd is a nightmare race but might to pay to have an ew on Blazing Bailey at 14/1 the 9 year old is going for a hat trick.
In the Cross Country Chase will be taking Garde Champetre 5/1 to beat LAmi 8/1.
The 6th race potentially has one of the Festival bankers in the shape of Quevega at evens.
Last race has a Grand National feel at 10/1 the field and maybe Tullamore Dew 10/1 might be reason for a drink?
Many big fields and never easy to find winners at the Festival but will be happy to get in front on day one with Cue Card, Quevega and Menorah.
Remember and check for scratching and betting moves and get the latest from Molly.
Good punting!

A great day for Ruby Walsh, so Master Minded today at around 7/2 could be the way to go.

The best thing about Cheltenham Day 1 was actually getting to see the racing without any interference from the usual slew of RSA MR 68 F&M events featuring bolted horses and the like getting in the way.
Just goes to show how easy it is to accomodate everybody with a little schedule planning.
Nevertheless - still a little apprehensive about Friday as PE is notorious for being unable to run a meeting to time. P-l-e-a-s-e spare us a McCurdie preview during the running of the Gold Cup!
