Great night for the favourite backers, World Cup looks to be an open race.

Plenty story lines here, Japan for obvious reasons, MDK runners, Twice Over for Henry Cecil, Cape Blanco on Coolmores comeback. From a betting angle nice prices on Golden Sword, Gio Ponti, Poets Voice. Twice Over looks a bit short in the betting for my liking...

And my favourite Italian jockey (Frankie aside!) who gave the World Cup winner a brave ride. Not too shabby is Mirco Demuro.

I thought the big race was an anti climax, no pace and became a sprint with the money on offer hope for a better field and a better race next year? just my opinion

Guess after JJ was difficult to get another high.
