You can try www.snai.it , which I think is the official website of the official Tote operator. Italy has no bookmakers but on the right on the homepage you will find something called scommesse ippiche, which means racing bets, Each course operating on the day is listed and you can click on whatever race you're interested in. Races highlighted in yellow are those which have not yet been run and you can follow real time Tote odds that way. "Quote vincente" is the current win odds for each horse, and after that on the right it shows the minimum/maximum place dividend recorded so far for each horse.

Unfortunately, to look up form you have to click on each horse's name individually, and the format is different to what we are used to so it will take some getting used to.

Also, the whole thing is in Italian - but numbers are numbers.>:D<

Eited: Races shown in yellow are still to come, those in green have been run already and I think those in red are closed and currently under way.

Thanks Magic - tried Scotia's sites but couldn't find a horse called Hail Mary running yesterday.
