What do you fancy, Hibernia? Me, my heart is with River Jetez but the opposition look awfully strong, not only overseas runners but horses like Ambitious Dragon.

For my fellow Saffers, here's a fact to relish: there are five SA jockeys and four SA trainers shooting for this target:

Funny, I seem to remember there was also a mess on Met day ... just recall the start which was all heat-hazy and obviously using long-distance telephoto camera ... you could hardly tell one horse from another. They (whoever They are - is it outsourced?) should really make the effort to check their cameras and connections the day before, or early on the morning of a big race day.
