The late Peter Miller was not very complimentary of Gunter when he again was involved in calling a race meeting off

Well abandoned just in the nick of time.....PA - SAFE, P6 - SAFE, Jpot - SAFE....and the best of all is Phumelela are covered from every possible angle.

"We had to run the 3rd race as we could not have had any idea that the kickback would be quite as bad as it turned out to be. We had the punters, owners and trainers best interest at heart to try and get as much of the race in as we could"

NOOOOOOTTTTTTTT!!!!!

Perhaps we should import some real good old fashioned American dirt and race on that? We can then generate hype and call it the "Hoedspruit Derby"........

Why can't it be as famous as the Kentucky Derby????

:D

Gunter was only carded for the last , is he the spokesman for the jockeys ? This does not effect jocks pockets as bad as the punters .
