Racing this Saturday

I see Pierre Jourdan is making his comeback run this Saturday in a Pinnacle stakes over 1600m on the inside track.

Now I have to ask...........

1) Do you guys think he can come back from the injury he had (bone injury in off-hind hock)?
2) Does he have enough time to be fully prepared to be competitive in this years July?
3) On exposed form do you give him any chance in the July if fully fit?

He is currently at 40/1 for the July....Value or not?

I guess we will find out on Saturday?

I would have to agree Dave. Perhaps better to keep him for the Met?

What do you think is his best distance?

Imo his best is 1800m. That is the race he won best (classic) and also achieved his highest rating so far?

He is classy though and can probably stretch out to 2000m but not his optimum I wouldn't think?

He only got 4 smacks down the lane and I must say he ran a very good 2nd being very far away from ready today.

He may not be 45/1 for the July? Depends on how he comes on in the Jubilee
