Scotia on the Investec Derby weekend
14 years 1 week agoEpsom Downs
Good morning to the Clan on Investec Derby weekend and hope we can supply you with a few winners?.
Talking about the Derby we have had plenty speculation about the favourite Carlton House and the odds have been up and down like a prostitues panties and lets hope punters have not been taken for a ride.
I am going to stick with the Queens horse after getting the all clear and have taken 5/2 (missed the 9/2) and in addition will also stick with Blue Bunting 2/1 for the Oaks, so a nice 10/1 double from your bookie.
We should be getting good coverage and in addition Neil Andrews and Bonski will be keeping us updated.
Winning Ways is always a good show and I enjoy the 3 to follow, well I would like to add one from the UK and its name is "Inetrobil", keep an eye on this one, I am expecting them to add Miss Diana after another unlucky second, but in this game nothing unlucky about a horse that runs second.
Local racing from Greyville where I am starting to think if Igugu wins on the bit on Sat. which can easily happen (I do have a lot of respect for Berry Blaze) I would guess that it will shorten in the betting for the July, so I am looking for a few doubles to take with Igugu to cover my annual trip to the VDJ next month.
Igugu could shorten
in the July Betting
As far as the Daily News 2000, very open and unless we have an impressive winner Igugu will again shorten, so I suggest you take the 7/2.
Will discuss Royal Ascot and the Belmont next week, some great races in store.
We will shortly be combining the Forum/s as the horseracing gets 95% of the action and normally when we have a major sporting event it finds its way to the racing page.
In addition we have opened the PM (private message) function where posters can communicate without posting directly on the site.
Now that the football/soccer is behind us and what a performance from Barcelona (you can get 5/2 for 2012 with sportingbet) we can focus on the rugby, where the bears or should I say Bulls in the local pub are starting to smile again after taking the 20/1 and are now half the price after a good win against the Cheethas in addition the Crusaders have drifted to 2/1 and are joint with the Reds, Stormers 5/1, Blues 7/1.
Some highlights from the Forum
Interbet competition winners.............
Bleeders cause and what to do...........
Whats the strongest race in the World.........
Not sure how much you use sms's? my kids are always using them but never answer the normal calls, drives me crazy, as an example: was saying to my sister love you sis and it went with love you sid, she replies, "who is Sid? the lucky man" lol
I was sent a few examples what happens if you type and just send it can be a bit scary.
good punting!

THE QUEEN'S Investec Derby challenge was back "on target" on Thursday night after her colt Carlton House came through a morning canter and then crucially showed he had suffered no ill effects from the exercise during a checkover at evening stables.
