After the earlier win by the De Kock filly against the colts I think Alinga will be very hard to beat

The Daily News has once again confirmed my opinion that this season's 3 year old colts are nothing to write home about. 3 Lengths covered the first 10 placings and a shorthead covered the first 3 past the post. Every feature race for the current 3 old crop has seen a different winner which simply shows there is no standout horse and they are all pretty much of similar ability.

I've been touting Bravura as the July winner for a while now although I now believe Igugu is going to take a power of beating. She might start very close to even money for the July unless Bravura destroys the Gold Challenge field.

Surely the July will be the fillies last race in South Africa before she starts her globetrotting...
