IMO - Clairwood has had a tendancy to cut up over the last few winter seasons. I would guess that it has something to do with watering and unpredicted rain. This being said, was it a wise move to have pretty ordinary racing on a Wednesday before a fairly major event? I only ask due to the rain that has been about on the South Coast.

Had some slight drizzle throughout last night, knowing the boys at Clairwood, sprinklers should be on later.

You're right Hibs, not very good. The winter season is showcase racing. No one wants to see the course in a bad condition on a major race day. The quality of horse that is on display on the weekend should have the absolute best ground possible to run on. Can you imagine, with respect, lower level racing at Kenilworth on the Wednesday before the Queens Plate?

According to the weather man durban can expect tons of rain over the next few days....so if you taking bets onto saterday it might be better to wait....all this unseasonal rain that dbn is having may affect horses preps for the july...so be cautious

Solera is NOT stable info. It is based on my observation of the last 2 runs.
If it was Greyville , I would say "label" it. The dam being a Joshua Dancer and possessing an extreme turn of foot, my opinion is that it would prefer the turn. Still worth a bet .
