Just on midnight here in the Friendly City, and a huge storm with gale force winds and rain has just woken me up.
I see that there is some more rain forecast for Friday, so we will have to hope that it blows itself out by the time
racing starts!

I wonder why they don't install webcams at all the race courses so that punters can check out the
weather? This link is to the PE webcam on the beachfront.

www.kapstadt.de/reiseinformationen/sueda...rt-elizabeth-webcam/

Unfortunately Fairview race course is a long way from the beachfront!

Hi all, I have not posted for a while due to not having internet access.

GJMurrell, would you mind sending Gavin's PA for today?
Does Newturf still post here for PE racing?

Thanks

moan about it, as it is given in good faith!

"Very open, track will be soft, play safe"

Here is Jacques Stydom's PA for those interested
6/2-6-8/10-15/2-4/4-5-8-9-10/4-6-9-10/1-2-6
Jacques stays 500m from Fairview and he reckons it is very wet and knowing that Fairview does not have the best drainage, I would say that they might not race.

Post Merchants - Splash Gold, thought he was an impressive winner in a small feature in his penultimate start and Neisius up, but nothing less than 4/1.

Greyville's Conditions - Mana Mou, barring Raise The Bar, I think everything else has poor form including State Blue whom I think was flattered in the Fillies Sprint, a front runner and with Marcus up, nice value.

Lady's Slipper - Starring Emma, an easy winner last start and so possibly in at the weights, nice value.

PE Gold Cup - Bluemambo, an eye catching winner of his last start and with Kruyer in form, reminds me of Fame And Glory :)-D , but nothing less than 22/10
