Fair preview but dont agree on Igugu. Surely Run for it is a better proposition than Castlethorpe who folded badly in the gold challenge and wont stay.

Yes, and Castlethorpe was also supposed to run downfield in that race. As Mr B says, due to circumstances, the horse had to be run this way because of the draw and that he had to run a good race to qualify. He went around the field, was a couple of lengths behind the flier Blue Tiger, flew past Blue Tiger just after hitting the straight and only got caught late, still finishing within a couple of lengths of the winner(the best miler in the country in the soft conditions. Now he sah the draw, gets weight and if they don't go to quickly early on I think they going to have to go to catch him if everything goes his way. I will stick by him as my value bet for the day.

I cannot see a a scorching pace being set this year and as such I believe if your selection is not placed in the first 6 or so entering the straight I think the chances of victory will be slim.
It seems the majority of the field are hold up horses. Igugu, bravura and castlethorpe tend to be up with the pace and that is where I think it will pay to be.
