Jockeys using Facebook n Twitter during racing

Are jockeys allowed to use social networks during racing while they carded to ride. Just saw a post by a jockey + he gave his fancy in Race 8. Mind you he is carded on something else.

I suppose they can.......as long as they are not on the horse at that particular time.....8-).

I would assume the answer would be a resounding NO, but have the NHA even bothered re writing these rules to include social networks? We know they are quite a distance behind in these matters?
