I have deposit a R200 into my sporting bet account and emailed my details to BOB and up to now no money reflecting on my account.

Last time i spoke to sportingbet they were physically trying to chase your bank for the deposit,ps this was posted on the original thread by me...

Just spoke to the sportingbet team and unfortunately some bank transfers take between 3-5 days,and they are advising you that you should use the following methods for a quick Deposit-cheque Card,Credit Card or a UKash..They can`t credit the vouchers until it reflects in your accounts..

They are also crediting the bonuses manually as a favour to us which could take upto 24 hours to process(some have just been credited).


Dont hesitate to pm or contact me if you feel i have missed anyone and i will resend the information to sportingbet..

Im from my bank manager and he says deposits clear immediately and 3 or more days

Yes bud,you will get your bonus,but the guy thats loading them can`t do anything until your deposit hits your account..sorry about this

Zesto, why not email your deposit slip (pdf file) to them and see if they can't help you out?

Lars: Unfortunately we cannot deposit the funds, when the bank are still processing the funds. When the bank have done that, the your funds will automatically become available on your Sportingbet account. Please note that all deposit can take between 3-5 working days.

Errr... not sure why it takes 3-5 days, that would chase punters away imo considering funds in to SA online bookies goes in straight away...

Gents, to clear this up – you need to understand that only bank to bank transfers (i.e. EFT’s) can take up to a maximum of 5 days to clear. (as with any merchant activity, until a deposit has reached the account and cleared, no shop would ever release goods before funds have cleared)

Also, keep in mind, that is a worst case scenario that will only occur if a customer doesn’t enter the correct reference number we provide or uses a bank we don’t support (we have accounts with the 4 major banks)

In most of our cases, an EFT only takes about 15 to 30 minutes to clear IF the customer enters the reference number provided on the deposit page correctly. (as a robot trawls the various bank accounts and matches reference numbers to SB pins)
