Competitions board.....How does Du plessis think he is going to defend the situation whilst in the same breath ask for protection from the open bet.
I have a novel idea for him....fix horseracing by improving horseracing!............. the way the industry is managed and consumers/customers/punters are treated instead of more protection and diversification into Casino games.(Is that not a bit like stealing business from the casinos as they allege the open bet does.....a bit hypocritical I would say.)
There is no way that "P" can/will survive in a competitive environment.....that is the best bet of the millenium!

perhaps now with the industry on its knees, the deadwood will be cleared to make way for new people with good strategic ideas and the ability to develop real sustainable income...we've discussed this ad nausium on this forum before...would be interesting to see how things pan out.

cape racing should never have even sold off Milnerton, nor the land surrounding Kenilworth....poor strategy back then already!!
