Just a word about 2 babies.
In the 2nd race my mate has a share in Hurricane Hunter. Has been gelded and is a very nice colt but will take a few runs to learn what racing is all about. At best in the back end of quartets.
I have the rank outsider in the 3rd, High Class Girl. She too is also learning what it is all about. She will need a lot further.
The last run the trainer wanted to see if she could keep up with the sprinters. She did and then got her tongue behind the bit at about the 200m.
Today the jockey will try to keep her off the pace and see whether she can run on. At best back end of quartets.
It is all experimental at this stage. I will take a keener interest when she goes further around the turn.
