Booked off sick and looking forward to watching an elusive PE meeting. No family, no maid, just my dogs, yay. Pity there is no feature, so what else is there to have a nibble on...
The Pinnacle - Thunder Key or Ballandro? - both had poor last runs but then so too Royal Bounty. THUNDER KEY to upstage - on the MR's a small favourable weight advantage, a winner of a minor feature in March, hoping Snaith has fixed his problems and for Fourie to upset Delpech and Marcus. I think the current 9/2 is more than fair (probably because Royal Bounty is overpriced?).

Spellcaster was a bit unlucky last time out at Fairview, lost plenty lengths at the start and had to be rushed up to get back into the race, my only reservation is this is Arlington and his best form has been at Fairview...
Hoping for New Turf to post, like a bit of First Impression eachway in the last....

I don't think Royal Bounty's best form is over 1000m. He sometimes gets found wanting over the 1000m and i would much prefer his chances if this was a 1200m

Beautiful day here in PE. Name change just to keep business (transport) and pleasure (racing) separate. We have 3 runners today. Bob has an infection in his leg from a small nic and so much dirty rainwater still lying around so had to scratch. Should be spot on for the 12 Aug. Gregbucks, please note change of jockey for Sublime.
Race 2 Endless Spirit having her first run here but has run well at Scottsville so should cope here. Good place chance.
Race 5 Gups Girl has kept her form and still very well after 2 runs in 2 weeks. Better drawn and top appie so should be right there.
Race 9 First Impression is very well but a difficult ride and Eldon Webber copes very well with him. Should be right there.
Heard a whisper about Savannah Park & Crimson Tide.
