Ilsanpietro could be the PA banker.

PA 1,2,9 x 1,3,5,4 x 1,2,5,6,11,9 x 3,2,5,8,13 x 2 x 1,2,6,7 x 3,8,9,1

Hidden Beauty keeps talking to me...

Just curious Tero - how do you analyze Felix the Cat liking soft?? Never been on soft going...? Hidden Beauty has had 3 tries on soft for 3 wins...Amanee won 2/3tries on soft, Ocean's Swift 2/2

Some thoughts on the features today:

R5: Imo draw a huge factor - and that could be the undoing of Felix the Cat - plenty of unknowns - how accurate are the handicapper's ratings - especially Ilha Bela who could be better that an 89 - on the other hand she finished less than 1,5 lengths in front of Grey Starling who is rated a 64 :S Could be a wise move to include Ocean Swift who is handily drawn and won cosily in PE from a wide draw

R6: Again the draw will be a factor imo - Mushreq looks the right one from a plum draw with Gimmethegreenlight drawn wide - Potala Palace highly thought of, but unknown quantity against this class - between these 3?

R7: Only thing I'm sure about here is that no horse should be less than 5/1 in the betting

R8: Another race where the draw could play a huge part - Gold Onyx seems to be improving and from his plum draw could go close - but he is 2 kg's out at the weights with among others his stable companion Buy and Sell who provides good backup in the P6. Castlethorpe also a huge runner imo - others with chances imo are Bulsara and Lion in Winter (who may prefer a longer run in). Captain's Secret has stamina doubts and Dancewiththedevil has everything against her imo

R9: IF Beach Beauty stays, she will win, if she fails to stay, lots of others come into it, including Fisani, Imperious Star, Secret Babe (coupled with Beach Beauty for P6) and of course Emerald Cove.

R10: I really like Wealthy and Wise - best bet on the card for me

R11: Pinnacle stakes, but no standouts at the weights after the scratching of Dance With Al - perhaps Shades of Indigo can surprise over this trip

R12: Handicap where Gaultier must have a good chance over this trip - Rushing Wind needs 1200 imo, but has the best draw - Tetelestai rates a chance as well but is drawn wide

Play well

Gold Cup - looking for best place bet cos Ilsanpietro is so expensive - KEY CASTLE; unbeaten in last 3; in last race the PE Gold Cup downed French Pearl who subsequently won the Wedgewood on Friday; tons of value at 7/1 for a four place market.

Premier's Champion Juvenile - a toss up between Gimmethegreenlight and Potala Palace but the price is right for the latter. POTALA PALACE - a well bred impressive winner of his last race; under-rated by the handicapper possibly because of only two life time runs; may never get 11/2 again for a long time.

Thekwini - HIDDEN BEAUTY - exceptionally well weighted on the MR's; draw a line from her last two starts; 14/1 a bargain.

Champions Cup - DANCEWITHTHEDEVIL - devil of a price at 5's because of her spectacular flop last time; recent impressive wins; jockey has been switched so out for revenge.

Gold Bracelet - both Emerald Cove and Beach Beauty are expensive so opting to place CROC VALLEY - now the right distance and company; Faydherbe up; helping myself to 3's and better.

Darley Arabian - WEALTHY AND WISE - best weighted; lightly raced; good run in Daily News; 7/2 is nice.

Pinnacle - THE SHARK - last win was tough but penultimate was impressive; Neisius and Kannemyer both in form; lightly raced; 4's is good.

Umgeni - RUSHING WIND - still ran a cracker in the Mercury after easing; drawn 1; Anton up; current 18/10 is still fair.

Mac - at least we agree on Wealthy and Wise B)

Are you not worried about the 1600 for Hidden Beauty?

Frodo -
Stable thinks that Wealthy and Wise should be too good in this field.

After this first race, will have to re-look at strategy with the ground cutting up badly.
