Just got home and checked and see Sage throne beat IL Saggatore by 2.35 lenghts today from being drawn outside him.Were I and most of the racing community right about the up holding of the last objection?I said then that 99 times out of a 100 ST would have beaten IS. Only 98 to go!

Congrats to Tarry and Van Zyl yards 1st and 2nd in grade 1 race.

Congrats to GC fora successful Gold Cup race day against the odds.

Sly not so much Ilsanpietro 4th and Sage Throne not in 1st 4 so expensive day.

New season new hope.

Marcus dropped the reins on 2 occasions (at the 300m and 50m mark) whilst riding Rushing Wind. Refer stipes report.
