Scotia at the end of the season 2010/11

Good afternoon all and hope you had a great racing season whether you were a punter, bookie, trainer, jockey, owner or breeders and look forward to 2011/12 for an upswing in the sport.

Much has been said as far as the jockey championship….. well done to Anton Marcus.

We have also been following the battle between Jet Master and Captain Al…well done to the Devine’s.

Many records have been broken and I would again say thanks to all the contributors and sponsors on the site, we had 9387 unique visitors in June and broke the R2million hits with R2,171,969. And followed up with a record July with 10,111 visitors and R2,419,781 hits.

We will hopefully have better communications with the authorities in the new year for the good of the sport as we continue to have challenges to keep the “sport of kings” alive.

We have many champions to follow in the form of Igugu on the local front and how good is Frankel?

Our competitions have been a great success and the Interbet best tipster has been a real test of discipline for our punters and don’t be shy to enter and test your skills.

A special thanks to Bob from me, for keeping the checks and balances in place.

We have had plenty fun and humour on the site and wonderful contributions from many very knowledgeable racing experts.

We have the lodge day to look forward to on the 17th Sept… and I look forward to meeting more of the Clan in person, including our lady contributors who continue to be amongst the prize winners.

Hang in gents, we can also multitask

I normally finish my post with “good punting and may your God be with you” and must say I did not realize we had so many religious followers in the game since I watched the replays of the Gold Cup and must say well done to Tellytrack for a superb coverage, maybe we were just blessed with no “Ngong”

Good punting in the new season and all the best for the racing awards.
