I talk from the wallet but recently i've had a great run with english lady riders - jocks, appy's, and amateur riders. - I really don't think that SA lady riders come near these girls. Actually i think that English riders - men and women - are top class. And before I hear the same old story that SA women riders don't get enough chances i will say that hard work and dedication will get you chances (young Wright in Cape Town seems to be taking his chances)
And to ladies man Shaheen Shaw keep punting the english girls - they do give you a run for your money!

Throw in Fallons tart Kirsty Milczarek, the amateur lady rider Serena Brotherton and the jumps lady rider Nina Carberry. There are quite a few good lady riders in the UK. In South Africa only Lisa Prestwood and Genevieve Michel was of any substance. Lisa Prestwood won a grade 1 on Al Nitak beating National Currency and Michel rode King Shore in the Met .

What has happened to the South African jockette Lisa Jones ? She was having a great purple patch in the UK.

Think she got hitched and is with her Jock husband who rides somewhere exotic
