Tough for sure....normally the "plate"type races make it a little easier (in theory)
Today the 1st 3 legs of the PA were maiden,novice and Pinnacle plates .....none of the top 3 rated horses ran a place in either of the 3 legs....maybe a record?

I try and stick with in form trainers & jockey's etc when placing a bet. Today I put all my point's (competition) on Surfing USA for a place only just because Striker's been on the horse before with some success. The trainer with all due respect, stats are 4% win & 7% place out of his last 100 runs. Even a brilliant jock can't always create miracles when the stable is off form. :X
