No, they're playing on people's sentiments, and they will catch a few. Maybe she will win it again, but 8/1 for a handicap ten months ahead of the race? You gotta be nuts.

Yes that may be true....but at least they have got it out there. I don't see too many other bookies offering this?
@Magic.... I undertsand what you mean by saying you could be "nuts" to take 8/1 about a horse in a handicap 10 months from now......but if I re-call, Sportingbet offered 8/1 about Igugu to win the Triple Tiara in November last year. I know those are not handicaps and July material races so to speak, but at least they had the initiative to price it up..... and those who did get the 8/1 triple tiara bet I am sure had a cocky grin on their face when they jumped from the 2450m mark in the Oaks!
Anyway, i'll ask Shezi if they get a few sucker bets

Lips for a man that does not have a bet you must be gimaking. shooting bullets hey. ~ We have to have a chat about this and your dance moves at 80’s.
@Countrymember
Shot you Air. Ive heard they Flying,defiantly don’t need the money if there people out there thinking like you. Snap out of it boet
Its a shame the other bookmakers cant think out side the box. Sportingbet just setting the standards and the rest just following like puppies. That’s why the BEST young local traders have gone to work for the big international corporations. Why play for QPR when Man United are offering.
@ Primal - Yes we have seen good money for the Filly already We taking her on this year if she stays so we'll be top price on all her runs. Just sent you a FREE R500 bet.
Double Inshallah to you all.

Rather use me directly or scott.canny@sportingbet.com, I’m on the trading floor and can sort it out much quicker. Scott is in the Cape Townoffice and has the other South African traders cell numbers if we need something done urgently. TeamSA@sportingbet.com is a automated email and could take longer to reach us.
Happy Punting.
