TERMINATING RELATIONSHIP - AN IDIOT'S GUIDE

Ever thought what happens when you are in a partnership and out of the blue, 2 of the partners gang up against you and want you out?
You receive the following email from one of them (the partners being Joe, Johan and Harry):
'I have no difficulty in you buying me out, if you want to do so. If I go down the road of negotiating that you buy me out, accept that I will NOT buy your share at any stage. I may in any eventy decline to sell to you because, amongst other things, the offer may be to low and/or the terms of payment are unacceptable.
I do not believe in bargains for either myself or the other party with whom I may be negotiating.
So, the choice is yours.'
They don't tell you what they paid for the horse (an unraced 3yo by an unfashionable sire, that you learn later they paid R20 000 for; which Harry would have offered if he had known!), they don't make you an offer to buy you out, and, they expect you to make an offer?
To cap it all, they make it clear that they will not sell to you because-
You will not be able to pay (without disclosing how much they want), and they will not buy your share; THEY DECIDE THAT AUCTION IS THE ONLY WAY OUT BECAUSE OF IRRECONCILIABLE DIFFERENCES!
Here again, they want your permission, and payment upfront of the auctioneer's fees (the assumption being that you are either cash-strapped or unable to honour costs)!
The irony of it all is:
The third partner (Harry) is up to date with his keep paymenst!
We have heard about owners complaining about trainers; what about such experiences with partners?
