Wow, it's almost impossible to believe that a horse can be so good. 152 for a miler must be the highest we haver ever seen?

The opposition to Frankel, the hot favourite, in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot's Champions Day on Saturday started to take shape on Monday as a total of 10 possible runners were left in the £1m race at the five-day stage.
Henry Cecil's miler is unbeaten in eight starts to date, and well clear of his field on the official ratings, which suggest that Excelebration, who took the Group One Prix du Moulin last month, and Immortal Verse, who beat Goldikova in the Prix Jacques le Marois last time out, are his most significant opponents.
"We're aware of the difficulty of the task, but that's racing," Marco Botti, Excelebration's trainer, said. "In another era without Frankel he could be the best miler in Europe, but it's nice to have a chance to run against a horse who's considered to be the best in the world."
Entries for the QEII also include Bullet Train, Frankel's half-brother and his normal lead horse on the gallops.
There are 17 remaining entries for the Qipco Champion Stakes, which will be the richest race ever staged in Britain with a value of £1.3m. Possible runners include So You Think, fourth in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe earlier this month, and Henry Cecil's multiple Group One winners Twice Over and Midday.
Cecil's attempt to eat into Richard Hannon's big lead in the trainers' championship on Saturday could also be aided by Vita Nova, who is now expected to line up for the Champions Fillies' & Mares' Stakes, having been a doubtful runner for the last fortnight. A definite absentee on Saturday, though, is Hoof It, co-owned by the golfer Lee Westwood and his agent Chubby Chandler, who was not declared for the Sprint event after suffering from a foot problem.
