Liancourt Rock was given his head with 400 meters to go, and from there he never looked in serious danger of defeat. It was a fine win by the colt, as runner up Silver Haven is rated as a top-sort by connections, and Liancourt Rock was a bit cramped for running room during the race. Liancourt Rock defeated the runner up by a length, with in third placed finisher, the useful 4yo Bayard, further back.
