WINTER DYNASTY UPDATE

Due to the fact that WINTER DYNASTY was making a noise after Saturdays race the stable took the precautionary measure of calling in a vet to inspect the horse who has been found to be suffering with pharyngitis (Inflammation of the pharynx which restricts the breathing tract, characterized by coughing and painful swallowing. The throat is sore on palpation. In severe cases food and saliva may be regurgitated through the nostrils) and a full vet report to this effect has been forwarded to the jockey club,
There can be no doubt that this is what lead to the horse losing the race and vindicates Andrew from any skulduggery, poor judgement and or any so called posing, it also highlights the importance of having a thinking rider on a horse which could have suffered long term damage had he been cut in half and forced to over exert himself in the race as some jocks may unwittingly have done..
There has been some justifiable criticism about some of our fellow posters that remain anonymous and vent their frustrations from behind a mask so to speak but that pales into insignificance when one considers the idiot who for the sake of sensationalism publishes a report in the Sporting Post calling for Andrews head without neither knowing nor bothering to find out the truth and does so anonymously, surely if a reporter writes an article as damaging as that one was he should only do so having heard both sides of the story and if he chooses not to as was clearly the case here he should at least have the balls to add his name to it..Andrew has been advised to seek legal advise on this matter and will be taking appropriate steps to clearing up that matter.
This is not an attempt in any way to "rub anyone's nose in it" but purely a presentation of the facts which shows how easily one can rush to judgement in the heat of the moment and hopefully will give some clarity and finality on the subject.

If he's a palooka, then he's a palooka who makes perfect sense. These things happen with horses, as anybody who has ever worked with them for even a day knows only too well, and it's often impossible to pick up a problem until after the horse has been stressed (i.e. raced). After all, they can't talk, can they?

titch contradicts himself several times in all threads relating to this topic however im not going to state the facts ...one question in the official stipes report did the vet or jockey report anything about this horse ?

Titch we thank you for the update on the horses wellbeing and i hope it gets beter,but Andrews riding of the horse has absolutely no bearing on the vets expection and subsoquent findings.In Andrews own thread that he started at no stage does he mention that he felt anything amiss with the horse and that he actually pulled his stick and hit the horse 3 times in the last 100m,hardly something a jockey would do of Andrews calibre if he thought the horse was not breathing properly.ANDREW,PLEASE DONT LOOK BACK,JUST RIDE THE HORSE TO THE LINE

Tangles very good point exactly - posing has nothing to do with the breathing tract IMO

2 Negative threads regarding this subject attracted over 5000 views and 250 comments ~ this thread giving the reason/solution to the problem has 266 views and 9 comments (including this one) it has become glaring obvious that most posters on this site (with a few exceptions) have a steadfast policy of Negativity is Baas...to those I say carry on with your sorry lives..but fortunately as is my right I choose not to partake or be a part of it in anyway..

@Titch - i was just going to say that you should just not respond to these posts regarding AF and Winter Dynasty anymore.....if i were you, i would have stopped a while ago........no matter how noble or admirable it is that you are only trying to show there was a problem picked up with the horse, some ppl just don't care. Anyway, i find it helpful bud.

One more point........i wonder how many of you will include this horse next time out when Andrew is aboard??
