Better than bad commentaries

With the unhappiness expressed about commentaries generally,I must say that the "new" numbering system that runs under the Singapore races is absolutely brilliant IMO.
I assume it must be transponders linked to a GPS type system........I watch with no sound and find it more than adequate.

If Tellytrack needs to make savings to survive, perhaps do away with on course presenters and, with this technology,commentators........much better than the service closing entirely!
Sometimes you have to do without "nice" to haves,if you can only afford "need" to haves!

Rob agreed. Singapore makes it effortless to spot your horse and to see what it going on. Hopefully everyone will adopt it soon.

Especially when your hear Dumpy saying when the horses go down, "where are we know", inspires great confidence.

I enjoyed the Dubai ''animated cam'' with the view of the horses from above, guess it would cost too much to implement in SA....

I disagree .... seeing numbers would make me have to remember the entire field. Often when watching a race (with commentary) you pic up valuable information for the future (black book stuff) ... If only watching numbers you would focus ONLY on what you have backed.
