Goldikova was lucky to keep 3rd. Should have been DQ'd.

I hope Tellytrack/Supersport or whoever the TV bigwigs are took note of the ESPN coverage. Say what you want about the yanks but they sure know how to tell a good story!
Comeback horse of the year must be St Nicholas Abbey. Completely written off last year and now Breeders Cup Turf Champion. Ok so the field he beat wasn't the strongest but an unbelievable win for the O'Brien family.

The Classic winner was producer by former Team Valor filly Golden Ballet, a double Grade 1 winner we sold at public auction at the end of her season at 3, when she realized something like $1.6 million "open" (not covered).
Lucky Chappy ran well for a colt that lost so much ground. He galloped out huge and looks a real prospect for 2012. Our other colt, not surprisingly, wasn't ready for the race after getting sick and missing too much work.
Brigantin was a disaster, but I didn't expect much from him.
Looks like my colt Animal Kingdom is still the leader among the 3yo colts, as no other 3yo except for a sprinter stepped up to the plate on BC day.
Of all the race, the one I really enjoyed was the 2yo dirt race, in which Hansen set the pace, was caught and still held on for the win. Small connections, huge victory.

What I liked about the coverage is the presenters didn't tip pa's, scratch each others backs about there fancies and what bet they taking, instead they gave an in depth preview of the horses, trainers etc...(
.. Very professional and a pleasure to watch...
