Changingoftheguard was not run in the Selangor because a) it is too short for him and b) we want to bring him up to the Derby in a less strenuous fashion. To me all this race today proved was that the colt has guts and nearly won against his own style.

Thanks. I went for the 7 as the spook, but Taipan should win this one. I still maintain this is Kannemeyer's best 3yo.....and not Liancourt.

The problem imo yesterday was 12 races, with three average ones at the back.... not the way to finish off a days racing...
