MUHTIMAN is close but not there.
Trainers are having TESTAN administered while a horse is in racing and because it is under the NHA threshold it is in effect condoned by the very same NHA.These people are the policeman of our sport and have by their own boast one of the most advanced Labs in the world but the use of Anabolic Steroids is widespread in the racing enviroment.

Very fine line as if you run on Testan you going to elevate testoterone levels which are tested for....are you implying that the NHRA
are turning a blind eye to the testosterone levels????

The feedback is that these horses are under the NHRA acceptable levels. The fact is they are racing on STEROIDS. I find this unacceptable

If this is true then this is shocking...... would suggest that one should look for a link between the local supplier and the horse racing industry as other steriods are not allowed so why then Testan?

This ranks right up there with racing in Argentina, where the timer does not begin for more than 2 seconds, allowing for some very fast final times that helps the agents sell their horses for some fantastic prices after they run a 2yo a mile in 1:34 on dirt that goes up to a horse's knees!

LOL! Barry I'm getting an education through your comments ... I was always amazed watching Argentinian racing at the fast times but just thought it must be the course or the going.
Just btw, this reminds me of a story I read of this guy who wanted to start a stock farm from scratch ... went to buy his first batch of cattle. The cattle were weighed and sold per pound. He didn't know nothing, so he bought at the price quoted ... got them home and found they promptly lost a whole lot of weight. He had the sense to ask an older stock farmer what the hell and was told it was a common trick to feed the cattle salty fodder but not give them any water. Then just before they were weighed, give them as much water as they wanted. He learned! but it was an expensive course was Stock Farming 101.

Why sould Barry take the risk, and land up being the target of some brainless numb nut that holds those particular persons in such high esteem. Besides it is bad for potential business, as some of these scoundels may in some strange twist of fate land up with something even Barry may want. Besides doping and other indiscretions our industry is fraught with all sorts of skullduggery and many of us know of, but will never say.

J pegg, why wnt you reveal the scoundrels? If it exists and you seem so passionate about horse racing dnt you think that the right thing to do is to expose the dirt?without proof it will carry on and the nhra can simply say show us the proof or go away
