the race you speak of tomorrow they bet

#3 22/10
#2 33/10
#5 33/10
#4 6/1
#7 6/1
#1 6/1
#8 14/1
#6 20/1

in this case 4/11 seems like SHORT and the only alarm it raises is that you clearly dont have a scoobies

anyone that takes those odds will lose in the long run.

i dont need your book, if it was black and white i would be a trillioaire. the fact that it took you nearly an hour to obtain a result shows me you are all about trying to show off but no substance.

I buggered back to address your statement, the reason it took a while for me to find it is coz i have never traded on US racing my lack of knowledge of form and the time diff being the main reason, im usually sawing wood by this time but im baby sitting my grand children tonight and am awake by force waiting for them to be collected..cant understand were you got the showing off bit from but the lack of substance thang you could be right..with regard to Go Me Gal Gunter will ride her as her form and MR will mean that she will always carry big weights and Muzi would mean loads of dead weight

Betting patterns are surely not determined by the amount of matched bets(or traded) bearing in mind that, if for instance BHP 50000 was traded on a horse, every cent layed was matched by a "back".That in itself could simply mean that those who thought it would win was matched by a similar number who thought it couldn't.
If,however one single layer, out of kilter with his normal activity, suddenly puts up 100,000 at evens on a 5/10 shot,to ensure he lays it,and then attracts a flock of vultures nibbling away at it due to the perceived value, then the lay,not the "matched",would raise a question.

IE. Surely it is not only the amount ,but how it is shaped that tells the tale.

correct i am not talking about "matched bets" i am talking about bets in the queue looking for takers. I have NO way of knowing exactly what has been bet by who but if i see a horse like this then i perk up

Traded £11458

To Back to lay

3.0 3.05 3.1 3.15 3.2 3.25

£14 £5012 £300 £88 £135 £2

this shows me that someoen is trying to lay the horse , now they mught be holding it at a larger ammount or have doubles BUT they are trying to lay it and i use this as a guide,

If you didn't know its a puzzle only the nominations could solve, I rather not reveal it cos I see the Messiah of horseracing is back posting on this forum, lol

We did scratchings today for the Kenilworth meeting on the 2nd and its the same 'ol same 'ol with the only exception being that Gerrit not riding for Hodgy,
Karl for Bass Kannemeyer and co, Felix for Justin, Bernard for Yogas, Glen Hatt and Anton for Joey Ramsden, Cormack for Kotzen...seems pretty normal..
