Enjoy Dave, we are having my brother and his family over from the UK.... First time in 8 years that we will be together as a family...

When I was in the army we had to cook for our rank once. We asked our "koporaal" for some tips, and I'll never forget what he said,

My cooking skills end at phoning for takeaways or opening a can, so unless you want to give your guests food poisoning I'll stay out of this topic.

We had a Christmas Supper lastnight,yummy Duck..
Today we have Roast Beef,Turkey and Pork and My auld Mum has made a Clootie Dumpling..

I KNEW I shoulda got a Turkey. The recipes here are pretty good . Ah well, let me go out and check the Beef and Lamb on the spit.
