Have to disagree with you there Saksy! Mahbooba was loafing, that's why she got a smacking. Once she got into gear she passed First City pretty easily and pulled up with pricked ears.

Also don't forget she ran 3 wide round the turn ... I reckon Soumillon has learned from bitter experience not to hug the rail especially when he's on the favourite ... an open invite to the other jockeys to make sure he stays there till the race is over. It didn't seem to bother Mahbooba covering the extra distance, she still sashayed past.

[Editor - is there some sort of auto editing of potentially rude words on this site? I get a bunch of symbols replacing the word I was using regarding the horse's ears, i.e. that they were standing up. Like, you know, weird!]

The local home affairs extortionists are trying to prevent me from being in Dubai for Super Saturday.....some crap that my fingerprints have to be varified at Pretoria and will take 4 weeks before they can issue a new passport as mine has exprired...:S

....no I feel that I'm about to be conned....my application was 2 weeks ago....only 4 passport applications that day and the 3 others were not subjected to this scam....they all got their passports in 10 days...:S
