calling magic rob faux regarding racec 2 vaal

please could you explain why in the frame and nautical adventure run in a merit rated maiden handicap of their old hcap marks of 67 and 50 whereby according to the nhra website in the mark is now a 72 and nautical is a 62...they both ran on the 29th of december so its almost 2 weeks down the line?

I can only assume that the weights for today were done before the 29th, what with all the holidays etc.

You got me............I have to assume Magic's answer the most likely!

What is interesting will be to see Nautical Adventure's run/rating today,cos it's form varies, course and distance, by at least 9 lengths.

with all due respect holidays or no holidays this is multi billion rand industry and its run like a bingo game at an old age home...the whole field is now under sufferance because its time to go to the beach ffs...mediocrity continues

Possibly because it was not going to change the weights they did not worry to change it on the computer. Surely the update should be picked up automatically though by the Racing Services computers from the NHRA computers. That would be the best way.
