Charlie Swan is a shrewd trainer, has given the horse a 47 day break, 3rd last time over probably too shorter trip ( 2m 3f ), runs 3m today, will relish the trip & ground. Has a decent 7lb claiming jockey who should know the horse better this time around ( 2nd ride ). 4 wins, 11 places from 23 Irish runs. Has been carrying well over 11st most races, will feel like a feather on his back today 10st5lb (plus 7lb claim), Expect a big run.

Hi Galwayracer. Just wonderin', why do you call yourself Galwayracer? I have always wanted to do the Galway race festival but some obstacle always comes up. Arghhh.

my family from Galway and if I ever win the Scoop 6 and buy my race horse thats what I will call him/her. Ifs an unusual race meeting to say the least!

Not quite in Galway but in a small town just SE of Galway, a place called Gort which now has a big Brazilian population. One mass (church service) is even said in Portuguese! And yours?

More or less town centre. Bohamor, its like an area of Galway Town itself. Its a nice place though. Always fancied retiring there but the cost of living is spiralling out of control apparently, and Ireland itself is broke!
