tellymuck an insult to jb met raceday

on a massive day like today surely tellymuck can cut short their bettingworld program from an hour to a half an hour as for the first half an hour of their program they previewed todays met card...does anybody out their seriously listen to this panels opinion on racing????????????now stan elley has to rush through his met day preview ....use some fcuken common sense for once please

they also leave Stan and the panel stuttering, cos there isn't any betting appearing on their screens

Relatively new to this so it has probably been mentioned many a time already... and I am aware of a current thread regarding the commentators who in truth I think are simply dreadful, not sure if they are "institutions" but from my tv screen I can often call a winner home much earlier than they seem capable of doing, they seem more interested in screaming some false information rather than calmly stating what's happening! But, I was actually going to mention camera angles and cameramen, is it impossible to get the cameras positioned so you have a decent idea of what is going on throughout a race, let alone at the finishing line?!? And do the cameramen realise that a horse can run away from the main pack, how many times does one shoot up the inside and the camera only picks him up a few lengths from the line... with the commentator of course also totally oblivious to the run also. In fairness to the cameramen that again maybe ridiculously positioned cameras but either way it makes SA racing look shoddy and unprofessional. Surely this is all a simple task for someone with a little common sense to resolve? And I think I already know the answer to that one...!

Tellycrap, tellymuck, tellykuk, tellysucks any other name we should be calling them?

Imo only when shaheen shaw is head of tellytrack we will we see a positive change!

@englander .... in fairness, not all the courses have that problem. Certainly Kimberley and the PE tracks have really poor (and few) cameras deployed.

Lets hope the Aussie keeps on calling them home today...
