Need a strategy to play wins

What a nice forum.

I only bet places because of a lack of confidence and winning strategy. This I have done for 2 years now.
I would like to bet with a winning strategy

Supply ur place strategy than we'll take it from there. Maybe it just need a tweek here and there.

Sure we would all like one Edward.

Would suggest don't play every race, just select one our 2 , don't chase if your best bet gets beat, always another day.

Take a horse in form, with a good jockey and trainer.

Check track, conditions to minimise risk

Discipline very important so drinking JWB after reading above is not a good idea.

You are lucky I am posting early as all the above is under pressure as the day gets longer

Edward I usuallly only play place bets and place doubles and trebles as I feel getting 5/2 on a place double that wins is better than a 30/1 win double that loses and I look to make a small profit daily rather that a big one once in a while.

If I really fancy a horse and the price is right I will back it for a win, but I don't do this more than a couple of times a week.

There are times you wished you backed wins like on Tuesday Night where my 5/2 place double on Second Tycoon and Deliver the Power both won.

If you are profitable backing horses for a place then why change to wins.

When picking the horse - play with your heart.

When structuring your bet - play with your head.

I played on betfair most of the time. They do nor accommodate placed doubles and trebles. Where can I open an account for this? I think this is one strategy I perhaps can persue. Thanks

Dont pro punters use the 20-80 stradegy.. 20wins 80places? Shrek i like your place dbl bets instead of win dbl bet only..im going to go 20-80 dbls from now on
